Definition-

Kapardika Bhasma is an ayurvedic medicine which is prepared from cowries. It is used in ayurvedic treatment of digestive distress and helps to improve the functioning of the stomach.

Uses-
Agnimandya (Digestive impairment), Parinamshoola (Duodenal ulcer), Grahanin (Malabsorption syndrome), Rajyakshama (Tuberculosis), Karna Sarav (Otorrhoea), Netraroga (Eye disorder), Sphota (Boil), Raktavikara (Disorders of blood), Sukrakshaya (Oligospermia).

Dosage & Anupan-
125 mg to 250 mg in divided doses per day with Nimbaswaras, Vasa swaras or directed by Ayurveda Consultant.

Side Effects-
It may cause Gastric irritation, Loss of appetite, Diarrhea, Bloating, Vomiting if taken in excessive amount.

Shelf Life-
6 months to 1 year from manufacture date if kept in air tight containers.
