Triphala Guggul
त्रिपलं त्रिफलाचूर्णं कृष्णाचूर्णं पलोन्मितम् ।
गुग्गुलुः पाञ्चपलिकः क्षोदयेत्सर्वमेकतः ॥
ततस्तु गुटिकां कृत्वा प्रयुञ्ज्यात् वन्यपेक्षया ।
भगन्दरं गुल्मशोथावर्णांसि च विनाशयेत् ॥

Definition-
Triphala Guggul is a preparation made with the ingredients in the Formulation composition given below with Guggul as the basic ingredient.

Uses
Sotha (inflammation), Bhagandara (fistula-in-ano), Arsa (piles), Gulma (abdominal lump).
Dosage & Anupan-
2-3 gram daily with luke warm water or directed by Ayurveda Consultant.
Side effects-
Generally Ayurveda medicines do not have any side effects but it may cause Diarrhea, Stomach ache if taken in excessive amount.
Shelf life –
If kept in air tight containers it last upto 2 years.
