SHANKH VATI

चिञ्चाक्षारपलं पटुव्रजपलं निम्बूरसे कल्कितम् ।

तस्मिन् शङ्खपलं प्रतप्तमसकृत् संस्थाप्य शीर्णावधि ।। १८२ ।।

हिगुव्योषपलं रसामृतवली निक्षिप्य निष्कांशिकाः ।

बद्ध्वा शङ्खवटी क्षयग्रहणिकारुक्पक्तिशूलादिषु । । १८३ । ।

(भैषज्यरत्नावली, अग्निमान्द्यादिरोगाधिकार; १८२-१८३)

Uses-
Agnimandya (Digestive impairment), Grahani (Malabsorption syndrome), Aruchi (Tastelessness), Paktishoola (Duodenal ulcer), Kshaya (Pthisis).

Dosage & Anupan-
2 to 4 tablets per day in divided doses with water or directed by Ayurveda Consultant.

Side Effects-
Generally ayurveda medicines do not have any side effects but it may cause Gastric
irritation, Loss of appetite if taken in excessive amount.

Shelf Life-
It may lasts upto 1 year to 3 years from manufacture date if kept in air tight containers.
