SOOT SEKHAR RAS
शुद्धं सूतं मृतं स्वर्णं टङ्कणं वत्सनागकम् ।
व्योषमुन्मत्तबीजं च गन्धकं ताम्रभस्मकम् ||१||
चतुर्जातं शङ्खभस्म बिल्वमज्जा कचोरकम् ।
सर्वं समं क्षिपेत्खल्वे मर्चं भृङ्गरसैर्दिनम् ।।२।।
गुञ्जामात्रां वटीं कृत्वा द्विगुञ्जे मधुसर्पिषी ।
भक्षयेदम्लपित्तघ्नो वान्तिशूलामयापहः । । ३ । ।
पञ्च गुल्मान्पञ्च कासान्ग्रहण्यामयनाशनः ।
त्रिदोषोत्थातिसारघ्नः श्वासमन्दाग्निनाशनः । । ४ ।।
उग्रहिक्कामुदावर्तं देहयाप्यगदापहः ।
मण्डलान्नात्र सन्देहः सर्वरोगहरः परः ।
राजयक्ष्महरः साक्षाद्रसोऽयं सूतशेखरः ।।५।।

Definition-
Sutshekhar Rasa is an Ayurvedic formulation used primarily for its calming and
detoxifying effects. It is a traditional remedy composed of various herbs and minerals
and is often used in the treatment of conditions related to Pitta dosha imbalances, such
as digestive disorders.

Uses-
Amlapitta (Dyspepsia), Chardi (Emesis), Gulma (Abdominal lump), Kasa (Cough),
Grahani (Malabsorption syndrome), Tridosaj Atisara (Diarrhoea due to all Dosha),
Shoola (Colicky Pain), Svasa (Dyspnoea/Asthma), Mandagni (Impaired digestive fire),
Hikka (Hiccup), Udavarta (Condition in which there is upward movement of vayu),
Rajyakshama (Tuberculosis).
Dosage & Anupan –
125 mg to 250 mg in divided doses per day with Honey, Water or directed by Ayurveda
Consultant.
Side Effects-
It may cause Diarrhea, Bloating, Vomiting, Dizziness if taken in excessive amount.
Shelf Life-
1 year to 2 year from manufacture date if store in air tight containers.
