Haridra Khand

हरिद्रायाः पलान्यष्टौ षट्पलं हविषस्तथा ।
क्षीराढकेन संयुक्तं खण्डस्यार्द्धशतं तथा ।।१२।।
पचेन्मृद्वग्निना वैद्यो भाजने मृण्मये दृढे ।
त्रिकटुश्च त्रिजातञ्च कृमिघ्नं त्रिवृता तथा ||१३||
त्रिफला केशरं मुस्तं लौहं प्रति पलं पलम् ।
सञ्चूर्ण्य प्रक्षिपेत्तत्र तोलकार्द्धन्तु भक्षयेत् ।।१४।।
कण्डूविस्फोटदद्रूणां नाशनं परमौषधम्।
प्रतप्तकाञ्चनाभासो देहो भवति नान्यथा । | १५ ||
शीतपित्तोदर्द्दकोठान् सप्ताहादेव नाशयेत् ।
हरिद्रानामतः खण्डः कण्डूना परमौषधम् ||१६||

Definition-

Haridra Khand is an ayurvedic and herbal medicine used for skin diseases and allergies. It is highly useful in urticaria (chronic hives) and all skin disorders characterized by itching and skin rashes. It is also very useful in blisters and fungal infections of the skin.

Ingredients-

Uses-
Shitapitta (Urticaria), Kandu (Itching), Visphota (Blister), Dadru (Taeniasis), Udarda
(Urticaria), Kotha (Urticaria).

Dosage & Anupan-
4 g to 6 g per day in divided doses with water or directed by Ayurveda Consultant.

Side Effects-
Generally ayurveda medicines do not have any side effects but it may cause Diarrhea, Bloating if taken in excessive amount.

Shelf Life-
It may lasts upto 6 months to 1 year from manufacture date if kept in air tight containers.
