वृत्तः स्निग्धः सूक्ष्ममुखो निर्मलश्चेन्दुसुन्दरः ।
दीर्घकायो गुरुश्चापि शङ्खः श्रेष्ठः प्रकीर्तितः ।। २।।

Definition-

Shankh Bhasma is an ayurvedic remedy prepared from a conch shell. In ayurveda, shankh bhasma is effective in dealing with diarrhoea (loose stools), acne, pimples, liver enlargement (hepatomegaly), splenomegaly, abdominal pain, indigestion, loss of appetite, heartburn, acid reflux, abdominal distension and irritable bowel syndrome. It has several other health benefits and medicinal uses. It is also known to benefit in various types of inflammations and infections of the intestine.

Ingredients-

Uses-
Ajirna (Dyspepsia), Agnimandya (Digestive impairment), Grahni (Malabsorption Syndrome), Amlapitta (Dyspepsia), Parinamshoola (Duodenal ulcer), Yakritplihavriddhi (Enlargement of liver and spleen), Visa (Poison).

Dosage & Anupan-
175 mg to 250 mg twice a day with Nimbaswaras, Triphala Kwath or Water. Consult your nearby Ayurveda Consultant before taking any ayurvedic medicines.

Side Effects-
Generally ayurveda medicines do not have any side effects but it may cause Gastric irritation, Loss of appetite, Diarrhea if taken in excessive amount.

Shelf Life-
6 months to 1 year from manufacture date if store in air tight containers.
